Monarch Cottage Testimonials

A Slice of Heaven

We stayed at Monarch Cottage for the month of January 2025 and didn’t want to leave! The home was newly finished and being one of the first guests we were not sure what to expect.

On arrival, however, we were a bit astounded by how lovely, how high end, how well thought out, and how well equipped the home was. The kitchen came with a microwave, coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher, an outdoor grill, etc. A gourmet cook would feel quite at home. The bathroom cupboards were stocked with everything we needed-and the linen closets had loads of fluffy towels. There were board games, decks of cards, and books to read. Many mornings, we would leave the "cottage” to walk/hike a bit and often see a family of young deer, iguanas, or visit with “Sam” a friendly duck that lived up the road. At night after soaking in the spa and looking up at the night sky filled with stars, we were lulled to sleep by the sound of ocean waves.
