Idyllic is a completely air conditioned, three bedroom home with a private pool and cabana nestled on the ridge overlooking Great Cruz Bay, just a few minutes from town and the ferry dock.

It's located in a quiet residential area with walking access to two beaches, the Westin Resort complex and a short drive to the spectacular
North Shore beaches and the National Park.


After relaxing in the pool, you're sitting on the deck looking at the view... a harbor replete with boats, Pillsbury Sound, the hills of St. Thomas in the distance.
Time stands still.


Choices abound:

You could you amble over to Great Cruz Bay Beach for water sports at the Westin Resort, stay for lunch, a great frozen drink and a set of tennis.

Walk over the hill to the quiet, secluded beach at Chocolate Hole and get in some snorkeling at one of the best spots on St. John.

Head off to the pristine, protected North Shore beaches - some of the
world's most spectacular.

Or simply relax and enjoy the complete comfort here at Idyllic.


Idyllic was designed to take advantage of the Caribbean breezes and incredible views of Great Cruz Bay. The covered deck across the front of the house provides protected outdoor living space with seating and dining areas. The new teak dining table set seats 6 in comfort. The indoor living area is furnished in cool, island colors, wrapped
sea grass furniture and artwork complimenting the natural beauty of St. John.

The fully remodeled kitchen is a delight with all the latest appliances, gourmet pots
and cooking gadgets, huge granite counter and a breakfast bar.

The three bedrooms are spacious, each with an accompanying full bath, luxurious with sparkling linens, wicker furnishings and large airy French windows. The guest bedrooms are spacious and have air conditioning and either king or 2 twin bed choices.

The master bedroom has air conditioning, a king-size bed and it's own master bath with sitting room & private deck. The sitting room has Cable TV and VCR,
mini fridge and microwave.


And, then there is the large pool (30x11x4) and deck surrounded by flowering shrubs with a captivating view. The comfortable deck furniture, and newly refurbished cabana, outdoor shower, half bath and gas grill provides for easy living pool-side.



Idyllic is landscaped with tropical plants such as flamboyant, bougainvillea, oleander, hibiscus and palm trees and you can help yourself to fruits in season - bananas, tamarinds, limes, passion fruit, and more.

The house is fully equipped with gear for the beach - coolers, towels and beach chairs. There is a complete entertainment unit with color TV, cable, VCR/DVD and combination radio, tape/Cd music system.

The house provides privacy and space for one couple, as well as easy sharing for two or three couples and is ideal for families.

Rates are based on number of bedrooms used- we rent to only one group at any one time

you may rent for less (7 night minimum) as long as the arrival or departure
